Work in Brown Books bookshop!
Ever wanted to work in a bookshop? Have experience of providing project support? Want to join a literature focused organisation?
Then we might just have the perfect role for you…
We are looking for two Volunteer and Project Coordinators, who can support the delivery of the Brown Books bookshop project and the various projects we are running, including the Storytelling project and our Book Festival.
Funded by Arts Council England, National Lottery Community Fund, Luton Rising and Luton Citizens Fund, the two positions are shop-based for 16.5 hours a week each, and will be on fixed term contracts from March until June 2024. There may be potential to extend based on further funding applications.
The roles will support:

- the day to day running of the shop
- the delivery of events and activities in the shop
- the administration and delivery wider Luton Literature projects
- administration of Luton Literature projects and further work
As this is shop based role, you will be expected to work weekends and evenings for events, and there may be occasional travel to other locations.
