Steve Cole joins our line-up!
We’re delighted to announce that our second author is Steve Cole!
Want to kick-start kids’ creative writing and a love of books? Steve Cole – author of Astrosaurs, Young Bond, Doctor Who books, Swarm Rising (with astronaut Tim Peake) and many more – leads audiences on a laugh-a-minute, high energy, ukulele-accompanied master class in “chucking imagination at words” (aka telling stories).
He will teach children quick-and-easy ways to invent story ideas, share secret writing tips and what it’s like to work with real life astronaut, with time for Q&A too. Attendees will come away enthused and inspired to leap into new adventures in creative writing!
This is a hybrid event, and people can attend either in-person at the Hat Factory or join the online stream.
10-11am in the Hat Factory Theatre. Ages 7-15.
You can book tickets to see Steve Cole through the Culture Trust website.
Tickets for all the author events and workshops will need to be booked in advance through the Culture Trust website and all children must be accompanied by an adult.
Luton Literature Book Festival is Funded by Arts Council England, with funding support from Luton Rising, Luton BID, and Flamingo Arts, and is supported by 1 Degree East, The Culture Trust, Luton Libraries and the University of Bedfordshire.
